Registration is now available for the Ballroom Boo Bash on November 1, 2025. The Ballroom Boo Bash is a new competition this year, held at the Ladu Event Center in Sandy. See the announcement from the organizer below:

“Utah is proud to announce that a NEW Dancesport competition will be starting up this year! Ballroom Boo Bash will be held on November 1, 2025. This competition will blend together Halloween festivities with a ballroom competition! Costumes are encouraged! Ballroom Boo Bash will feature Syllabus, Solo Star, Open, and Student/Teacher events! There are still spots available for the Beehive Team Match Mixer. This fun and unique event combines Pre-Teen, Junior, and Youth dancers from different schools and studios together in teams. Through this Saturday (Oct 4), late fees for all events will be waived for new registrations that include the Team Match. Couples wishing to add Team Match to their existing registration can do so without a late fee as well. Dancers who would like to add the event to an existing registration should contact the registrar Brad Haymond.

The organizers have extended late registration for the 2025 Utah Star Ball until September 29. The Utah Star Ball is hosted by Ballroom Utah Dance Studio on October 4, 2025. The competition will be held at Ballroom Utah Dance Studio in Salt Lake. Late registration is available online here:

Admission tickets are now available for the 2025 Beehive Dancesport Classic competition, held October 10 & 11, 2025 at the Orem High School Fieldhouse. Reserved table seats and general admission are available for each day, or as a 2 day combo package. Ticket prices are:

General Admission

• $7 per person for Friday
• $10 per person for Saturday
• $15 per person for Friday + Saturday

Table Seating

• $40 per person for Friday + Saturday
