The tentative schedule for both Friday and Saturday for the Provo High Dance Championships is now available.  Below you will find the schedule for both days as well as the current event availability for late registration. The schedule is subject to change, so check back for any updates.

2013 Provo High Dancesport Championships Tentative Schedule

The tentative Friday schedule for the Provo competition has been updated to include additional events on Friday, including Amateur Ballroom, Latin, and Smooth. Check the updated schedule below:

The tentative schedule for the Provo High Dancesport Championships is available for Friday (team) events. Please note that the doors will open at 1:00 pm Friday and events will begin at 3:00 pm. Provo High School classes will still be in session until 2:15, so competitors and spectators should plan accordingly. Parking may be difficult while school is still in session, for example.

As usual, all teams and dancers should be ready to dance 30 minutes before their scheduled time. Contact Angela Williams or Provo High with any additional questions.

2013 Provo High Dancesport Championships Tentative Schedule

Update 1/18/13:

The Adult Pre-Championship Smooth category was inadvertently left off the entry form for the Provo Dancesport Championships this month. The entry form has been updated to include this event. Competitors who would like to compete in this event may register until Monday (1/21/13) without a late fee. The updated entry form is below:

2013 Provo High Dancesport Championships Amateur Entry Form

Update 1/15/13:

There has been enough interest in a Lindy Hop event at the Provo Championships this month that they are going to hold a single dance open Lindy Hop event. If you would like to compete in this event, please add it to your entry form.

UPDATE!

The dances for the Provo High Dancesport Championships on Jan 25-26 have been updated for Adult Pre-Championship Latin to mirror Youth Latin. The dances will be Cha Cha, Samba, and Rumba. We have confirmed with BYU that these are the same dances that will be danced at nationals in March for these categories as well.

Please note that Paso Doble will NOT be danced in Adult Pre-Championship Latin. The entry forms have been updated as well:

The entry forms for the 2013 Provo High Dancesport Championships are available. You can download them below. Please note that late fees have changed for UBEA competitions and are detailed below:

• Entries are due by January 11 to avoid a late fee.
• After January 11, each entry form will have a $10 late fee.
• After January 18, each entry form will have a $20 late fee.
• After January 26, no late entries will be accepted if they create an additional round.

The second annual Utah State High School Showdance Championships will be conducted at the Provo High Dancesport Championships on January 25 and 26, 2013.

Please note that only high school students who are officially part of a Ballroom program at an accredited school with an officially recognized Ballroom program are eligible for these particular categories.
