Remember that entries and payment for both the UBEA State Title Match (Feb 21) and the Timpanogos Dancesport Festival (Feb 21-22) are due by today (Tuesday, Feb 11) to avoid a late fee!
All registration for both competitions is online this year. UBEA events are open to dancers (and teams) who are part of a school Ballroom program. Dancers can obtain registration information from their director. The Timpanogos Dancesport Festival is open to all dancers and teams. You can register online at:

The judges marks for the Utah Dancesport Championships, hosted by Center Stage at Thanksgiving Point, are available below.

*Update: The explanation of the policy has been updated below for clarity*
Some have asked about entry fees for the UBEA State Title Match and Timpanogos Dancesport Festival, as they are on the same weekend and at the same venue. For the purposes of entry fees, the two competitions will be treated as one. For example, a couple that enters up to 3 categories across  both events would only have to pay a total of $10 ($10 for the first three events) instead of $20 ($10 for the first three events for each competition). Another example would be that a couple who entered the same 2 events at each competition would have a total of 4 events entered and the registration fee would be $15.
The competition organizers hope this will help dancers who would like to compete in both competitions.

On April 29, 2014 there will be a benefit concert called Dance to LIVE at Pleasant Grove High School to raise money for workshops and a helpline for suicide prevention in teenagers.
Directors, below is a request letter from Nicole Hill to participate in the event. Nicole is asking for teams to come perform at the concert. See the attached letter for details. Contact Nicole at nicole.d.hill@gmail.com to become involved.
Everyone else, come to the show on April 29! Admission is only $5.

The entry forms for the Timpanogos High School Dancesport Festival and the UBEA State Title Match are now available at the links below. Entry forms are due by Feb 11, 2014 to avoid late fees. Note that all registration will be done online through Register4Comps.com. Payment can be made online through MySchoolFees.com (recommended) or directly to Timpanogos High School.
Note that UBEA events are open only to dancers enrolled in an official school Ballroom program. Contact your director for the UBEA events entry form information. Timpanogos Dancesport Festival events are open to everyone.

The entry forms for the UVU Winter DanceSport Festival on February 28 – March 1, 2014 have been updated to correct some information. You can find the updated forms at the links below. Forms are due by February 14 to avoid a late fee.

Alex Murillo has announced that the NBC talent show Amerca’s Got Talent will be at the Utah DanceSport Championship (hosted by Center Stage) on February 8, 2014 and The Barn at Thanksgiving Point. They want to film Utah’s high school teams and junior high schools and elementary kids along with the open events.
