UVU Ballroom released the following info about their upcoming Holiday Concert:

UVU BALLROOM DANCE COMPANY’S HOLIDAY CONCERT

The UVU Ballroom Dance Company’s Holiday concert, “Let Christmas Shine” combines the movement of ballroom dance with dance numbers that center on the festive holiday season. With a variety of Latin American, Ballroom, and American style dancing, along with the visual effects of multimedia, we hope individuals and families will start a new tradition of kicking off their holiday season with this Christmas-themed concert each year.

Dates: November 29, 30 December 1
Time: 7:30p.m. Thursday, Fri, Sat. with also a 2:00 matinee on Saturday
Where : Reagan Theatre UVU Campus
Cost: $15:00
Tickets: advance sells call 801-836-7529 or available at the Reagan Theatre depending on availability.

The entry forms for the 2013 Provo High Dancesport Championships are available. You can download them below. Please note that late fees have changed for UBEA competitions and are detailed below:

• Entries are due by January 11 to avoid a late fee.
• After January 11, each entry form will have a $10 late fee.
• After January 18, each entry form will have a $20 late fee.
• After January 26, no late entries will be accepted if they create an additional round.

The UBEA will sponsor the first annual Utah State High School Championships at the UBEA Title Match hosted by Timpanogos High School on February 15-16, 2013.

The second annual Utah State High School Showdance Championships will be conducted at the Provo High Dancesport Championships on January 25 and 26, 2013.

Please note that only high school students who are officially part of a Ballroom program at an accredited school with an officially recognized Ballroom program are eligible for these particular categories.

More information about these events will be provided to school Ballroom directors.

The Adults in Motion Ballroom Team are having open auditions.
