The Westlake High School Ballroom Festival is a festival for teams to meet and perform in a non-competitive environment. The Festival will be held on February 12, 2015. Registration is $150 per team. Team directors can register by contacting Jeffrey Sosa at jsosa@alpinedistrict.org.

Team showcases will be an open audience event. Tickets will be $5 and performances will begin at 7:00 pm. Below is a document with more information:

The Timpanogos Dancesport Festival that was scheduled to occur on February 28, 2015 has been cancelled and will not be held this year. Contact Timpanogos Ballroom with any questions.

The UBEA State Title Match held at Timpanogos High School on February 27, 2015 WILL be held. See this post for more details about the UBEA Title Match.

Please note this event is restricted to dancers enrolled in a school Ballroom program. The tentative Friday schedule for the 2015 Provo High School Dancesport Championships on January 30, 2015 is now available. Please note the doors will open at 1:00 pm and events will begin at 2:15 pm that day. As always, all dancers should be ready to dance 30 minutes before their scheduled event time. Remember that entry forms for the Provo High Dancesport Festival are due this Wednesday to avoid late fees. Here is more information from Angela Williams:

“Just a friendly reminder that the first deadline for the PHS Dancesport Festival is this Wednesday, January 14th.  The school will be closing at 3:00 PM, so if you are turning that in please do so before 3:00.  It can also be postmarked the 14th.  Or you can scan the entry form and send it via email and then send your paper and payment in.”

Please note that the following events at the Provo High Dancesport Festival will be held on Friday evening, January 30th:

• Open Pre-Teen Ballroom
• Open Pre-Teen Latin
• Open Pre-Teen American
• Open Junior 1 and 2 Rhythm
• Open Amateur Rhythm
• Open Amateur Ballroom

There may be additional events held on Friday depending on the number of entries. There will be another update on Friday, January 16th.

The entry forms for the 2015 Provo High Dancesport Championships on January 30 and 31, 2015 are now available. This competition includes the Utah State Team Showdance Titles. Entry forms are available below.

Please note that the competition will be held in the basketball complex at the north end of the school this year. Also, the competition will begin at 1:00 pm on Friday, January 30.
