The tentative schedule for the Utah Dancesport Championships, hosted by Center Stage at Thanksgiving Point this Saturday (February 7, 2015), is available below. Note that the doors open at 9:00 am and events begin at 10:00 am. As always, dancers should be ready to dance at least 30 minutes before their scheduled event.

Paul Winkelman wanted to remind those applying for scholarships to UVU Ballroom that the application and DVD are due this Saturday, January 31, 2015. You can find the UVU scholarship information page here:
UVU Ballroom has announced that the entry forms for the UVU Winter Dancesport Festival held on February 20-21, 2015 will be available this Friday, January 30, 2015. Registration will be online. More information will be given on Friday.
The tentative schedule for the Provo High Dancesport Championships this weekend (January 30-31, 2015) has been updated. You can download the latest version of the Friday and Saturday schedules below. Please note that some Friday events were changed, added, or removed, so please review the latest schedule to confirm your event time.
Also, the list of closed and limited events is now available. Please note that late registration is currently closed until Friday when the doors open at 1:00 pm. At that time late entries will be accepted on a first come, first serve basis.

The following provides additional clarifying information about the Timpanogos Dancesport Festival and UBEA State Title Match:
The UBEA State Title Match and the Timpanogos Dancesport Festival both occurred last year on the same weekend at Timpanogos High School. The UBEA State Title Match is for dancers enrolled in a Ballroom program at a school. The Timpanogos Dancesport Festival is open to all competitors.
This year both competitions were scheduled to be Feb 27 and 28, again at Timpanogos High School. The UBEA State Title Match WILL be held on Friday, February 27. See this post for more details about the UBEA Title Match.
The Timpanogos Dancesport Festival that was scheduled to occur on Saturday, February 28 will NOTÂ be held this year.
