The judges marks for the UVU Dancesport Festival from last weekend (February 19 & 20, 2016) are available below:
The tentative schedule for the UBEA State Title Match, hosted by Westlake High School Ballroom this Saturday (February 27, 2016) is available below. There is limited table seating available for $15 per person.
There is space in the schedule for non-school (studio) teams to perform showdances and have them rated. The teams would be evaluated by adjudicators using the new UBEA scoring system. To enter a team showdance or purchase table seats, please contact Jeff Sosa at jsosa@alpinedistrict.org.
The schedule has been updated for the UVU Dancesport Festival this Friday and Saturday (February 19 & 20, 2016) at Pleasant Grove High School. There have been several changes to several events, such as Junior High Syllabus Ballroom, Amateur Ballroom, and Youth Pre-Championship Ballroom. Please review the schedule to confirm when you dance:

As always, the schedule is subject to change and dancers should be ready to dance at least 30 minutes before their scheduled event time.

The schedule is now available for the UVU Dancesport Festival this Friday and Saturday (February 19 & 20, 2016) at Pleasant Grove High School. Doors will open Friday at 3:30 pm with events beginning at 4:30 pm. Saturday doors open at 7:00 am and events begin at 8:00 am. As always, dancers should be prepared to dance at least 30 minutes prior to their scheduled time.

Don’t forget that the closing date is tomorrow (February 16, 2016) for entries for the U.S. National Amateur Dancesport Championships hosted by BYU in the Marriott Center March 9-12, 2016. You can register online here:

The registration for the UBEA State Title Match hosted by Westlake High School Ballroom on February 27, 2016 is available for all public, private, and charter schools. Coaches are responsible for registering students in their programs for the competition. Coaches, if your students are interested in attending, then please email Jeffrey Sosa at jsosa@alpinedistrict.org for a form. Last day to register for events is February 17th.
Due to time constraints there will not be open (non-school) events this year. There may be opportunities for studio teams to perform in showdance or medley team events, as with last year. This would be a performance and not a team competition. More information will be available next week.
