This is a reminder that entries are due tomorrow (January 17, 2018) for the Utah Dancesport Challenge, held at the Barn Showroom at Thanksgiving Point on February 3, 2018. See the letter below from the organizers:
Hello Dancers,
With much excitement and anticipation we would like to invite you to the inaugural year of the Utah DanceSport Challenge, held in Lehi, Utah at the Barn Showroom at Thanksgiving Point on February 3, 2018.
This is a reminder that the registration deadline for Utah DanceSport Challenge is fast approaching. To avoid any late fees please register by January 17, 2018.
You do not want to miss being a part of this amazing event!
As an official NDCA sanctioned event we are happy to announce that we will have:
- NDCA judges from all over the United States.
- A competition size wooden floor.
- Along with many other surprises throughout the evening that you do not want to miss.

Graduating Seniors!
For those of you would like to continue your dancing after high school and in college, here is the information you will need to apply for a scholarship with Utah Valley University!
All applications and requirements can be found online.  https://www.uvu.edu/dance/auditions.html. At the bottom of the page there is a link “New Student Dance Scholarship Application Fall 2018â€. Fill out the form completely and send (hard copy or scanned copy) to Chris Witt (wittch@uvu.edu). You will need to submit a video of two dances (one Latin/Rhythm and one Standard/Smooth) to Chris Witt as well.
The deadline for applications is due before January 27, 2018.
If you are planning to serve an LDS mission right after high school, please submit your videos and application so we can consider you for future placement and possible scholarship on our Company.

This is a reminder that registration for the Provo High School Dancesport Festival on January 26 & 27, 2018 is due by this Friday, January 12, to avoid late fees. After Friday, registrations will have a $10 late fee. After January 19, the late fee is $20 and registration will be closed until January 26 at the competition.
Also, team registrations are due by this Friday. After Friday NO team registrations will be accepted.
Please note that Youth Rhythm has been added as an event, to be held Saturday.

Entries are due by January 12 to avoid late fees. After Jan 12, a $10 late fee will be assessed. After Jan 19, a $20 late fee will be assessed. However, entries will be closed from January 19 until the day of the competition (Jan 26).

The UVU Ballroom Dance Company will perform in concert on November 17 & 18, 2017 in the Ragan Theater in Sorenson Center on UVU campus.
Dive into the visual extravaganza of UVU’s Roots of Knowledge, a massive stained glass window that presents a panorama of history and human drama. The intricate details incorporated into each panel represent years of painstaking research on the events and people that shaped humankind from the days of wooly mammoths and cavemen to the iPhone. Through dance, UVU Ballroom Dance Company pays tribute to the outstanding beauty, workmanship and history displayed in this astounding diorama.
