The location previously posted for the Extreme DanceSport Invitational, held today and tomorrow (April 15 & 16, 2022), was incorrect. The competition will be at Madison JUNIOR High School in Rexburg, ID (not Madison High School) We apologize for the mistake! The correct address is:

2022 Extreme DanceSport Invitational Finale Schedule
Dancers should be prepared to dance at least 20 minutes before their scheduled time. Please note that there will be two dance floors for some of the Friday sessions. There is a Main Gym and an Auxiliary Gym. Using this format will allow us to have the maximum feasible events on Friday in order to accommodate those wishing to leave by Saturday afternoon. The Main Gym only will be used on Saturday.

Below is information about a Pre-Teen/Junior/Youth partner audition mixer this Saturday, March 26th. Dancers will learn some simple combinations and dance with others looking for competition partners.
- Where: Gio Danceworld (527 W State, #101, Pleasant Grove)

- 3:00 – 3:45 PM all syllabus dancers, all ages
- 3:45 – 4:30 PM all Open Latin dancers
- 4:30 – 5:15 PM all Open Ballroom dancers
- 5:15 – 6:00 PM all Open Smooth dancers
- $5/dancer/session

On March 8, 2022 (this coming Tuesday), Strictly Ballroom and Fred Astaire Dance Studios will host a benefit gala for Ukraine at the
Strictly Ballroom studio at 575 N 1200 W in Orem. All proceeds will go to help refugees fleeing Ukraine. Anyone can support the effort by attending in person, donating, or watching the video stream. In-person seating will be limited, but anyone can purchase the video stream and watch live or later.

Please see the information below about a survey to determine interest in dancing in the AAU Junior Olympic Games. The survey is due March 13.
2022 West Coast AAU Junior Olympic Games
Date: June 9-15
Location: Payson Utah
We will be welcoming dancers from across the western United States and also from outside the country.
Normally, dancers must participate in a qualifying event in order to enter the Jr Olympic Games. However, due to the challenging circumstances of the past two years, this pre-requisite has been waived. ALL DANCERS are welcome to enter the games this year!
The Dance Games will include Ballroom, Cabaret, Hip Hop, Break Dance, Contemporary, Jazz, Folk, Clogging, and more. There are events for both TEAM entries and INDIVIDUAL entries. There will be workshops in all styles of dance June 9-11, and the games will be held June 13-15.
We have made a survey for both Coaches/Directors and Dancers to complete. This will help us to know who is coming and how many athletes to plan for. We would be very grateful if you would take a minute to fill it out.
