We do not anticipate the schedule will change, however, this is not the final schedule and is subject to change as needed.

Please be prepared to dance at least 30 minutes before your scheduled event. Also, please plan extra time for parking.

Just a reminder that the entry form due date for the Orem High Tiger Classic is this coming Wednesday, Sept 10. (after that, there will be a $10 late fee)

The competition will take place on Sept 20 in the OHS Fieldhouse at Orem High School. The OHS Ballroom Team is excited to welcome special visiting judges Urs Geisenhainer and Agnes Kazmierczak, Professional Standard Champions!

Because of the construction on the new Orem High School on the same property, parking may be limited. Carpooling is strongly encouraged where possible. Please plan extra time for parking.

This competition is the first in the Utah Dancesport Series, presented by the Utah Ballroom Alliance. Competitors will accrue points for each competition entered, each recall made, and placings in the finals for the following open multi-dance styles in the Preteen, Junior, Youth, and Adult age categories:

• International Standard
• International Latin
• American Smooth
• American Rhythm

Introducting the Utah Dancesport Series! The 2008-2009 Utah Dancesport Series begins with the Orem High School Tiger Classic on September 20, 2008. More information about the Orem High Tiger Classic can be found at www.oremhighballroom.com.

The Series is presented by the Utah Ballroom Alliance. The Series Includes the Following Competitions:

• Orem High (Sep 20)
• Timpview High (Oct 25)
• BYU (Nov 14-15)
• Provo High (Jan 30-31)
• American Fork (27-28)
• BYU (Mar 11-14)
• Final Competition (Mar 28)

The participating Utah Ballroom Alliance Programs include:

•      Orem High School
•      Timpview High School
•      BYU
•      Provo High School
•      American Fork High School
•      Lone Peak High School

Competition points will be given to all partnerships in championship events. The partnerships with the most points at the end of the series will receive great prizes that will be given in the 4 championship styles (Standard, Latin, Smooth, Rhythm) in the 4 age categories (Preteen, Junior, Youth, Adult).

The UVU Ballroom Dance Company will be presenting their Summer Concert on Friday, August 8th, at 7:30 p.m. in the UVU Ragan Theater.

Admission is $5.

The Orem High competition on Sept 20 will be the first of the Utah Dancesport Series competitions, presented by the Utah Ballroom Alliance. This series will include competitions at:
