The original UVU Youth entry form listed the Youth Pre-Champ dances as Cha Cha, Samba, Paso Doble. This has been updated to Cha Cha, Samba, Rumba. The entry forms have been updated as well. Please plan accordingly.

Title Match Deadline Extended

The deadline for entries to the State Title Match, hosted by Timpanogos High Ballroom on Feb 15-16, has been extended! Entries may now be submitted until Feb 6 without being considered late. After Feb 6, a $10 late fee will be applied to each entry form until February 11. After February 11, a $20 late fee will be applied to each entry form.

Change in UBEA Competition Deadlines

Due to the significant scheduling problems created by a high number of late entries during the days immediately before a competition, UBEA competitions have established a cutoff date for entries. Entries will be accepted until this cutoff date, at which point the schedule will be set, available spots will be determined and published for each event. Late entry forms received after the cutoff date will not be considered until the day of the competition. The cutoff date for the State Title Match is February 11.

The entry forms for the UVU Dancesport Festival February 22-23 are now available. Please see the UVU announcement below:

The UVU Dancesport Festival will be held on February 22nd and 23rd.  The Festival offers events for teams and individuals of all ages and skill levels.  They’ve moved back to the PE Building Gymnasium, offering more seating and improved visibility for guests. UVU is pleased to announce that prize money will be offered to the first place formation teams and to the winners of the Adult Championship events.  Please mail entry forms so they arrive at UVU by February 15th.  Unfortunately online registration is unavailable because the UVU websites are currently under construction.  For more information, contact Chris Witt at wittch@uvu.edu or 801-863-6757.

The entry forms for the UBEA State Title Match (formerly known as the Alpine Classic) are available below. The Title Match will be held this year at Timpanogos High School in Orem on February 15 & 16, 2013 (Friday & Saturday). Below is an explanation of the schedule of events:
