Paul Winkelman has provided the following clarification for the process of auditioning for a scholarship and placement on the UVU Ballroom Team:

“With the change of the audition process from live audition to DVD or Internet link I would to clarify how thee audition process will be handled this year.

1. Have your students go to the UVU School of the Arts site and find the Scholarship tab
2. Click on the Scholarship tab and find Dance tab
3. Click on the Dance
4. This page lists different scholarships student may apply for. At the top of the page it indicated that the Ballroom Dance portion of the audition will be a DVD or internet link. Please scroll down this page.

Just a friendly reminder after a great holiday…

PHS Dancesport entry forms are due this Friday to avoid a late fee. We have paper entry forms – just send in your forms with money. If you want to fax, please includes a copy of the check so we can match it up when it comes in the mail. Remember, school hours are 7 AM – 3 PM. If you want a receipt, you must turn the money into the business office. If you just want to drop it off at the school, the main office can put the envelope into my box.

We are expecting another GREAT year!

The entry forms for the 2014 Provo High Dancesport Competition are now available. Entry forms are due by January 10, 2014 to avoid a late fee. Please note the new guidelines for Newcomer events.

Provo is hosting the Utah State Showdance Championship at this competition.
