Here is a note from Curt Holman regarding men’s allowed syllabus attire:

The following question has been raised :

 Can boys in the syllabus event wear black pants with satin stripes? 

 The entry form clearly states in bold letters that no satin stripes are allowed. This was added to come in line with the NDCA requirements.  Please make sure all your couples (p-teen, junior, and youth) are aware of this rule.

 Also remember that boys don’t have to wear pants made for dancing – they can wear just a pair of black dress slacks .

For those that reviewed the schedule when it was initially posted, there was an error in the start time for Thursday afternoon. From Curt Holman:

On the recently posted schedule we had a wrong start time on Thursday afternoon.  The previously posted schedule said Thursday Afternoon started at 2:00pm  It should have said 12:00pm the events that were affected are listed below – If you have students in these events please make sure that they are aware of the correct starting time.

• Junior High School – Syllabus American (F/CC)
• 1st Round – High School – ISTD Syllabus Standard (W/Q)
• Youth Pre-Championship Standard (W/T/Q)

2010 Alpine Classic Team Match Marks

The entry forms for the Alpine Classic this weekend listed the incorrect dances for the College Bronze and Silver standard events. The correct dances are:

College Bronze – Quickstep
College Silver – Waltz

The tentative schedule for the Alpine Classic at American Fork High School this weekend has been updated. Please note that Friday begins at 5:00 pm now. There are other changes as well, so please review this updated schedule.
